If you use your phone more for browsing(treo/palm)
if you are heavy on email(blackberry)
other that I have found that I prefer the touch screen(treo/palm) than the mouse wheel(blackberry).
Most other utilities/programs are very similar/comparable.

palm is better because it does everything a blackberry does only better. I have the new palm centro only 100 bucks. I have it tetherd to my laptop right now and im only paying 15 bucks for data. A blackberry requires blackberry plan wich is at least 40 bucks.

    PALM
    1) Many many more 3rd party apps to fit any need you have.
    2) Touch screen is handy when you are in a hurry.
    3) Email isn’t as reliable ans BB.
    4) It is less restricted then the simple operating system on the BB.
    5) A much better Internet experience on the Treo
    6) A treo does a better job of replacing the laptop than the blackberry.
    7) A treo is not as stable as a BlackBerry.
    8) More memory than a BlackBerry.

    BlackBerry
    1) Reliable email
    2) Better looking design.
    3) The BlackBerry non full qwerty keyboards are difficult. But the curve has a nice full qwerty keyboard.
    4) Less memory than the treo

Bottom line if you want a stable device with reliable email and don’t care to add to many special 3rd party programs then blackberry is fine. If you want to be able do do everything on your PDA that you can do on a laptop then the treo is the way to go. Namely a windows Mobile Pro treo.
